Daily writing prompt
What is the legacy you want to leave behind?

That I will be remembered as the girl with lots of love to give, a heart filled with joy and hope. That I may not be perfect and have strong boundaries but for those who are close to my heart, I hope to be remembered as present, available, and ready to listen. That I may be remembered more than my labels of a daughter, mother, and wife – that I will be seen as a kind human being who knew her value, worth and is not afraid to wear her emotions in her sleeve.

She is light-hearted.

She finds good in people.

Her presences demands respect.

Her kindness is overflowing.

A woman of service.

A woman who had the will to always find a way to make something work.

A woman who loved her husband, her child, her parents, her siblings and friends.

A writer who knows how to use her words to express the rawest of emotions.

An honest writer.

A human who was not afraid to give it her all.

A healthy-hearted human being who loves hearty conversations and relating.

I hope that one day, someone can look back to my life and admire the decisions I have made and the time I took to make big decisions- or the intentions behind my actions. This is the legacy I hope to leave behind.
